By buying an area on Monumentas, you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Community Rules and Privacy Policy.

What you are buying

What we sell is a digital product. When you buy on Monumentas, you are buying a specific area of the cube, made up of pixels priced at €0.25 per pixel. That area becomes yours: a digital product that you own. All prices are in euros. As a small business under the French VAT exemption (TVA non applicable, article 293 B du CGI), we do not charge VAT, so the price you see is the price you pay.

Once you own your area, you may use it to display an image and a reasonable number of links, including as an advertising or publicity display for yourself, your brand, or your project. We do not charge anything for that use, and we do not provide it as a service. We sell you the product, the area itself, and whatever you choose to do with it afterwards is your own use of something you own. Your ownership of that area is intended to be permanent. The content you display on it stays subject to our Community Rules for as long as it is shown.

Payment and refunds

Payment is processed by Stripe at the time of purchase. Your digital product is delivered and activated immediately once payment succeeds. You therefore give your prior express consent to the immediate delivery of that digital product, and you acknowledge that, by receiving it immediately, you lose any statutory right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, to the extent permitted by applicable law, including under EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m).

We do not give refunds, with one exception, which is when the fault is clearly ours. Examples include a technical error that charged you twice, or an area that was never actually delivered because of a system error on our side. Outside of cases like these, all sales are final.

Your content, and our responsibility

You keep ownership of any image you upload. By uploading it, you grant us a license to display it on the cube as part of the Monumentas site for as long as your area exists. You confirm that you have the right to use and share whatever you upload, and that it complies with our Community Rules.

Every image and link on Monumentas is uploaded by the user who owns that area. We do not create, endorse, or take responsibility for any content that users upload or display, and we are not liable for it. What we can do, and will do, is remove, hide, or erase content that breaks our rules, and deactivate or permanently delete the accounts responsible.

Content removal and account deletion

We may remove, hide, or erase the image and links on any area that violates the Community Rules or these Terms, at any time, without notice, and without a refund. Removing content does not affect your underlying ownership of the area, which stays yours. For repeated or serious violations, we may also ban or permanently delete an account. A deleted account can no longer sign in or buy areas, and the areas it owned are released. None of these actions entitle you to a refund.

Permanence

We intend Monumentas and the area you own on it to last indefinitely, and we have built it with that intention. That said, like anything hosted online, this is not a guarantee against events outside our control, for example if the site ever has to shut down entirely. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice if that were ever to happen.

Links to other sites

Links displayed by other users point to third party sites that we do not control and are not responsible for. Visit them at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

Monumentas is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, nor for content that other users upload. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
